When you contact me by telephone or email
I will ask you about your object(s) and your concerns and suggest some possibilities.
If we agree to continue the conversation,
our next step will be an examination.
In the case of single works, you may arrange to deliver the item(s) to the studio or I can arrange to collect the item(s) from you or examine it ‘in situ’.
Once the examination is complete,
I will present you with a written report & proposal describing service/treatment options.
This document will include an estimated completion date and cost, along with terms and conditions of the service this will remain valid for 4 months. The report and proposal will be sent to you via email unless otherwise requested a printed copy of it can be sent to you by mail.
If you agree to the proposal, this will be our contract and I expect you to return to me an email with a consent message or the printed copy mailed back and signed by you as the consent.
Upon your acceptance and a deposit or check of 50% of the final estimate, I will start working on your project.
I may send you interim reports according to the complexity of the project and the length of time estimated for completion. If there are unexpected issues, I will contact you to discuss them; in some cases, an addendum to the treatment outline may be required.
When work is complete,
I will contact you to schedule a date and time for pick up/deliver the item.
The balance of your payment is due at that time. A written and a photographic report of the intervention will be delivered to you as well.
